The 5-speed conversion is done on the bug-eye, except for some minor clutch
adjustments that will be addressed tomorrow. So now I'm down to a few
details.
1) The wiper motor (Mk I Sprite) works, but it doesn't park all the way to
one side. Is this normal? If not, how can I adjust it?
2) On which side are the wipers supposed to park? Mine park toward the
passenger side. The bug-eye shown on the cover of the current Moss catalog
has wipers parked toward the driver side. And most of my wiper arms
inherited from multiple sources are designed to park toward the driver side.
How can I reverse the motion on my wiper motor? I do have one set of wiper
arms that park on the passenger side, but none of my seven assorted wiper
blades fit these arms! I doubt they are from a Sprite.
3) Now on to the washers. I have a manual washer with three outlets on the
back. How do you hook this up? I can't find a diagram anywhere.
