I believe most noise is caused by pinion bearings. Now, having spouted that, I've never actually fixed a noisy diff, so what do I know? I have a noisy 3.9 that I'd like to have silenced. So, when you figure it out, let me know. My best advice would be to find a good shop and let them do their thing. BTW, I know that my recent LJC purchase came with a Torsen LSD. I don't think it'll swap into a Spridget housing, though. Cheers, Derf |
