Spridgiteers, Just starting to rebuild a 1275 for FROG AYE. My machinist tells me that the crank is not useable as there is too much thrust at the big ends. (I measured about 17-19 thou when I disassembled it) The journals are ok, I think. Anyone out there got a near standard 1275 crank they wouldn't object to parting with for a reasonable sum? If I had a spare $2K, I could get a billet crank out of EN40. But, "We tight." Hal |
