Thanks all for the help as I was getting ready to take a large blade 
screwdriver to try and split the frames!!!   You can see where they are linked 
together - and my thought was that the plexi was added before the frames were 
assembled.  A touch of heat from my heat gun seems that it might help as well - 
from 
what I am hearing.
