| The way Reserve is supposed to work (as I understand and IMHO) is for when you don't know what the value of an item is to the public, but you know it's worth at least X to you. Rather than putting a high starting price that may generate no bids (in which csae you have no idea if the public's value is close to yours or not), a reserve will allow you to see what kind of bids you may generate. So, I would NOT tell someone what my reserve is. -dnw- -----Original Message----- From: owner-spridgets@autox.team.net [mailto:owner-spridgets@autox.team.net] On Behalf Of Peter C. What does it mean when someone asks me what my reserve price is on something? Should I answer? And how? Or... should I have a reserve at all? |
