Following up on Ron's question and the answers of 1 gallon of primer and 1
gallon of paint. Is this for just a respray of the exterior or is this the
amount needed to do a complete body tub, doors, and lids inside and out?
Does anyone know of a good step by step on how to paint a long term
project. For example, suppose I do all the body work on a trunk lid and
have smoothed it out with filler and am ready for a primer. What should be
used? I understand new primers want to be top coated within a week and that
won't happen in a long term restoration.
