Melted Plastic - no LBC

I know this is a little off topic, but does anyone have any experience
removing melted plastic from chrome motorcycle mufflers?  Parked next to a
large white plastic bag in my garage after a run on my Harley and it
melted to the muffler.  I peeled a lot of it off, but some just won't come
off.  Don't want to scratch it.
