Hi Lambert,
I'm copying the list since this isn't unique to the 1500. :)
Two things I can think of offhand. More likely is an out of balance
wheel. Have you bought tires recently? It could be you lost a weight, or
even one of the wheels is bent.
If it's not the wheels, you may have some worn suspension bits. First
thing that comes to mind is the tie rod ends. How were they when
you/Larry did the alignment?

Subject: Shimmy
HI Chris,
I have a question and hope the King of 1500's can help. My car runs
pretty good, i was getting about 33 miles per gallon on a recent
trip, except when i reach 60 mph i get a real bad shimmy in the
steering. the steering wheel rocks back and forth pretty bad when i
exceed 60. I just did an alignment on the car with Larry's help is
there anything else i can do to cut down or eliminate the shimmy.
Thanks
Lambert
