My dad has talked about doing this in the old days, except they used a tank 
of Oxygen.  He said they ran a paint spray gun this way one time when they 
had to do a little painting and didn't have a compressor nearby.  All I 
could think of is how flammable that mixture must have been coming out of 
that spray gun.
