I'm sure with a little technology transfer, the World's Fasted Bugeye
title could be added to your wall. Probably Frank would provide
Spridgets@team.net decals for both sides of the car. Hell, I'll bet you
could get 3 or 4 of us to come to your shop for an OSHIT and build the
thing over a long weekend! 'Course, you'd need crew on the salt, and a
couple of babes in tight hiphugger jeans and Moroso t-shirts to help out
(while the Mrs. Was washing the cat, of course). Although the arm candy
is probably beyond us, I think you could entice a few Spridgeteers to
show up at Bonneville!

Okay now for the rest of us... lets be honest... how many of you yahoo's
honestly envy these guys for getting to do the Buster Cluster?
That was Me raising my hand and waving it multiple times ... looking
like a total idiot in front of my wife's cat... ( had to get a cat in
there somewhere, otherwise the subject title would be plain wrong )...
I'm kind of divesting myself of all the sprite stuff... not that I don't
enjoy doing sprites... it's just that the Bonneville thing eats up so
much of my life that I can't really enjoy this many things and I wanted
to do a street rod project ( 1948 Willy's Station wagon )... I've also
picked up the Triumph that was used in the movie "officer and a
gentleman"... so my life is kind of set for the next few years.... then
you Yahoo's go and do this gig with a sprite... damn the shame of it
all....
The question is when I get rid of the last sprite part... can I stay on
the list? Hmmm maybe I should save a badge or two and that way I'll
always have
a reason to be here other then I enjoy your company.... Mostly I
read...
but once in a while a pearl comes along that requires comment...
For a quick update on my racing junk... I took the Berkeley out to El
Mirage in June and set the C/Gas Modified sports car record at
213.909mph... which gave me entry into the El Mirage 200mph club... and
that finishes the US...
all 5 200mph clubs.... Bonneville, Maxton, Muroc, Texas and El
Mirage....(
first time anyone is in all 5 ) Now I'm getting the Camaro ready to
take to
Bonneville Monday... and then we're off to Australia in March....
