If you haven't already, I would look to upgrade to a better alternator (I have used GM alts with good results on a Midget) and an electric cooling fan. Removing the waterpump mounted fan will free up a little power that can be used toward an AC compressor. At highway speeds you probably won't have any trouble. It is stop-and-go traffic that causes overheating problems. |
