ITS ALIVE !
Well believe it or not the car went from nothing to getting most everything
on and starting the motor. Totally amazing what you can do with 20+ people in
less then two days. I think it could have been totally done by now except for
looking for things that were either missing or Buster knew where they were but
was gone. Of course when Buster was there we could find every thing with no
problem. I left at 9 pm pacific time. There was still people working on the
car. They were mounting the windshield when i left. So this update is as of 9.
All the electrical worked except one head light that needed a ring and the dash
lights worked but needed to be plugged in place. The steering was done except
for a mounting plate and the steering wheel and other attached items. The seats
were not mounted in place. The hood handle needed to be attached and emblems
mounted otherwise the hood and all hardware was done along with alinement's.
The gas pedal linkage needs to be done along with
the exhaust system and a few other small things. So as i said, the car is
mostly done. Amazing how people from all walks of life got together to help a
friend with his car. So as you can imagine every one was very nice to meet and
plesent to be around. I think we all will remember it for a long time.
