Another important considerartion if you use epoxy floor coatings is to sprinkle the surface with their anti-slip (fine sand). Otherwise the floor will be as slippery as ice when wet! I coated my floor in '88 and it has held up well except for where I chipped chunks of concrete out of the floor (don't ask). And yes it will fade where it is in direct sunlight.
