It is interesting reading the number of different ways one can install a propeller shaft. What I did a number of years ago, because it seemed I was pulling the engine and transmission out of the car every other month, was cut a 5" square opening on the tunnel pan. It is an easy job to reach up and guild the propeller shaft into the back of the transmission, I can also change the rear transmission oil seal if I had to. I have a plate and 4 screws to cover the opening, just my 2 cents worth. Greg Higgins 63 sprite MK ll |
