Hello Lester,

       i had significant heating in my footwell when i first got the
       car .. my feet would just BAKE, .. then i installed the
       rubber plugs in the tranny tunnel. problem solved! of course
       its NOT 90 degrees here, other than a few days a year, every
       few years or so apart.. global warming not withstanding. ..
       anyway its worth checking to make SURE those plugs are in
       place!
