Somewhere, I have audio & video of Geoff Healey saying, as we examined NOJ
391, the first Austin Healey Special Test car...
"I'm sorry, but we cannot entertain any warranty claims at this date."

After its introduction and use, it was discovered that when working on
the engine compartment with the bonnet raised, many owners required
stitches to close mysterious bloody gashes to the posterior of their
head. The factory sent out an immediate notice to all owners cautioning
them NOT to work in the engine compartment with the bonnet in the open
position. This defect was immediately corrected and resulted in the
issuance of the Sprite Mark II.
