"266/DCOE combo"
Good morning, amigo....you're in luck, big guy. :)
Frank C. runs this combo for the street, drives like he stole it and finds it
satisfactory. This speaks for itself.
His DCOE settings should pretty well match what you've got and if not, you've
pretty
much found why your customer's combo
isn't working with his 266.
The "256" produces more low/mid-range
punch than the stock grind and isn't really
"worth" the 45DCOE. The "266" (with a .7
increase in CR) gives nothing away at the
bottom and produces more punch in the
entire mid-range with the stock 34mm chokes that should be in your DCOE, Paul.
The slight increase in CR (to no more than
9.5-1 considering today's garbage octanes)
keeps a nice, peppy low end considering the
greater duration of the "266" as opposed
to the "256".
Frank's your man, though and a look through Vizard's cam section should be
quite instructive as well. He gives a nice
page or two to the Kent grinds.
