Chink made crap will do that to you every time.

Do what I did.
Redesign it with some yankee ingenuity and it works like a champ.
Throw out the stick in the sand stick with too many holes.
Make one with about an 1/8" vent above the suck tube, use some 3/8 PVC 
and your head. Gotta out think a chink to make it work.
