My daughter has a 1989 LeBaron convertible. She is not a car person (when
her car was stalling at stop signs, her description of the symptoms was that
"the car did not go vroom when you pushed down on the accelerator"), so she
loves the car, automatic and all ;-) Anyhow, she was coming home from
college this past weekend, so she put the top down for ease of loading the
car. On the way down, the rear window (yes, it is glass) shattered. The
glass is glued in, with no zippers or sewing involved. I was wondering
whether any of you had any ideas as to how to glue a replacement window into
place. Not concours, it is a 17-year-old car with rusty doors that my
daughter loves dearly, so I am looking for a way to make it properly
functional.
Thanks,
