Well, Ed, the web site for Speedograph-Richfield, the current 
manufacturer of the Sprite's mechanical tach reduction gear, says, 
"These are used on classic British sports car eg. Austin Healey Sprite, 
AC Cobra and MG Midget."  Strangely enough, Bud Osborne told us that the 
same tach reduction gear came on Ford tractors.  Should you need a
