Hello ,
it could also be co-incidence... 90% of fuel problems are
electrical, and 90% of electrical problems are fuel related...
at least twice now i was sure i had a fuel problem of some sort
because the car would run fine at low rpm and bog, or miss as i
accelerated, or at high rpm... i changed the fuel filter,
cleaned float bowls, etc, etc, but when i finally opened the
distributor, i found one of the wires shorting out inside. it
would only occur when the dizzy advanced, making the wires
tight enough to rub or touch. .. .. must have been happening
over a long enough period of time previously to wear thru the
insulation. ... .. just a thought.
