  I don't remember exact names, but I believe it was an on-list collaberation 
by several people.  Someone threw out a basic idea (Toby?) and others made 
suggestions.
  I think he found the 'DG' in the Octagon somewhere else and the rest was 
added and 'perfected' here.  :-)
