RE: Stops for front hinged bonnet?

Have you tried Speedwell Engineering? http://www.speedwellengineering.com/

They offer a front hinge kit with stops that they claim is strong enough for
steel bonnets.

I have not actually seen one of these (unless Glen Byrne's Turbo Bugeye uses
one) so I can't vouch for the finished product.
