Rear wiring harness routing

Can anyone describe the route the rear wiring harness makes? I see where it
plugs in under the right side of the cowl, and one wiring hold down tab on the
kick panel, after that it's a bit of a mystery how it goes to the trunk, does
it just lay on the floor and through an opening in the 1/4 panel into the
trunk? The car had no wiring installed when I bought it. Worried on how the
side panels will lay down with the harness there.
