Glenn,

There are 4 nuts up under the dash close to the top of the dash which 
hold it to 4 studs protruding from the firewall.  There are also 3 or 4 
metal braces on the bottom of the dash you will have to loosen.  Just 
remove the bolts holding the steering column to the dash and let the 
steering column hang down away from the dash.  It should lift off.
