Hello Dave,
that's a new one on me.. never heard anything about amperes
being different in any part of the world. .. anyone east of the
pond know anything about that?
i always thought that an amp was an amp! i know they use
different house current voltage than we do (220, 50Hz) but
one would think they couldn't mess up the definition of an
ampere, (like they have gallons!)
