Please don't generalize about "the bimmer crowd". As an owner of a both a
classic Mini as well as a 2001 3 series coupe ( in addition to a Bugeye ), I
would never, and have never sarcastically referred to the new MINI as a "little
BMW"...in fact, I plan to own one myself, one of these days. It must be
non-Mini
type BMW owners who are showing that type of attitude. It doesn't surprise me
in the least that they may be looking down their noses at the new MINI, (
lord knows it's had to stuggle for acceptance by many groups ) but I gaurantee
you, it's not all BMW owners who carry this attitiude.
