You can install the pistons first but they do sort of interfere with the
crank, not a big deal just a positioning problem when the crank goes in.
The pistons are omnidirectional so it doesn't matter which way they go
on the rod, once the crank is in, just rotate the pistons/rods to fit
the crank, you can see the offsets.
2 go one way, 2 the other but without looking at an open engine, I
forget which ones point which way.
You will know as the rods are going down the bore, they only fit one
way. Easy enough to twist them on the way in.
Just keep 1 2 3 4 in the right holes.
