Sound and Heat Deadening

Hello,

Does anyone know of a cost effective (cheap) sound and
heat deadening material.  I'd like to stick it to the
inside of my doors and lay it on the floor so it
shouldn't absorb too much moisture like the aluminum
backed felt stuff, which appears to be pretty
expensive.
