Thanks Robert and everyone who replied to me off list. Now, here's why I
asked. I manage to break my backplate (1275 w/ ribcase). There was a 948
backplate for sale on eBay that I thought I might buy. Now on to plan
"B"... I know there are replacement aluminum backplates available... Does
anyone here have an extra steel one laying around that he'd like to get rid
of (for a reasonable price?).
