I won't pretend to have tried all of the combinations, but I will say that I 
was hard pressed to tell the difference when I put a stock 9/16" sway on the 
front of My Midget that had none. OTOH, when I put a 3/4" in place of the 
9/16", I could really tell the difference and I love it!
