Not necessary to "buy into" anything
specific, Dave. Nobody "knows" what's
wrong for sure...simply stating possibilities.

Fact is, there seems to be a mechanical
failure of something within. And it will
have to come apart to the extent the "failure" can be found, educated
"guesses"
notwithstanding.

I must admit I am very curious.
