no LBC list help request

When i send an email to the Spridget list it doesn't hit my mailbox for 
sometimes up to an hour after I send it.  Others receive it sooner because I 
get replies before I see my own email.

Can someone tell me if I have my PC set up wrong?  Or is this a common list 
situation.
