HA! It always will be easy when you're in Mal Fay's
beautiful Midget that at least one of us (me) doesn't
want to see dented (especially after watching you spin
in practice....don't worry, I won't tell the list). I
had the corner, but yielded to judgement! Just when I
almost caught John next lap, he pulls off for a
pitstop....see ya next year, pal!
Actually an amazing, amazing weekend. It was great to
see John as always. Despite his homicidal driving
style, he remains one of the best people you'll ever
meet. Flounder was sorely missed, he better be at
Elkhart. I got my lap times down to consistent 1:41's
(1:40 is rare-air Kropf/Donato territory, 1:37 is
Flounder territory, 1:49 is rookie territory), and
finished 2nd in my class in the Enduro. I was pretty
friggin' happy. Best dice of the day for me was a 6
lap battle in the feature race with an Alfa, finally
got him on turn 3 (just after the off camber). Thanks
as always to Peter C. for the great support.
