Really??! :):) You sure it's a 948, Lester???! :) Actually, the 948 would have been better off WITH, rather than without, for sure. As I understand it from Mike MacLean, the early 948's center main bearing took quite a beating even without a Judson. Any sort of harmonic crank balancer could only have lengthened service life I would guess.
