Hi all.
I pulled out my spare clutch M/C last night to see if I could get a head
start on rebuilding the clutch system today. It had a little surface
rust inside. To polish it, I found that a piece of 1/2" copper pipe,
wrapped with a 1/4 sheet of 600 grit sandpaper, made a great polishing
mandrel. The thickness of the paper was just enough to take up the
clearance between the pipe and the master cylinder bore. It took the
surface rust right off and left the surface nice and smooth. To clean it
out, I used an alcohol soaked piece of rag wrapped around the same
mandrel. Worked great.
Just thought I'd share a success!
