Time to ask the experts...(79 Midget)
Gear box sounded noisy in the lower portion, put the midget up on ramps, oil
seemed low. So... Filled it up to the filler hole, took it out for a ride and
everything was nice and quiet.
After about about 25 miles it started to make a vibration type noise at the
shifter. Lower end still sounds nice and quiet. Still shifts into all gears
easy with no grinding or noise. Haven't put it back on on the ramps to check
the oil again.
Any one else out there have this happen or know what I am in store for..
