A radiator hose that runs between the lower radiator port and the water pump
was recently purchased from one of the major suppliers. The extension of
this hose that connects to the water pump was too long causing a clearance
problem. Comparison to the hose that was remove showed that it would be
necessary to remove one inch from the new hose to achieve the desired
clearance. The new hose cut easily. Too easily! There was no trace of the
reinforcement that is usually present in radiator hoses. Has anyone had
experience with this type of hose? Thanks for your input.
