The Bugeye now has a leak at the bottom of gas tank. The tank looks good and I think this was caused by a stone. I would like to keep this repair wee tight. How stupid would it be to use self tapping sheet metal screws, gasket material and a mending plate? Anyone have a serviceable used gas tank for sale/trade? Just as a point of reference, will the tank for any spridget work? This is going on a 60 Bugeye. David Oliner |
