Hello Chris,
i just measured ... i have 15mm clearance on the right side,
and 30 mm clearance on the other! wonder if that has anything
to do with the "set" of the car... something to have Paul A.
look at when "we" (he) does the 5 speed conversion NEXT FRIDAY!
CK> I'm not sure, I haven't measured the wheel arches yet. One way to check
CK> is to measure the clearance you have with the 175's and then add 5mm,

CK> Tires do vary, as has been posted in some places on the web. One

CK> One good thing - the early stock "banana spoke" Miata rim is 14 x 5.5,
CK> which means you could run a 175/65R14 tire, and get the advantage of a
CK> shorter sidewall that you know will fit.
CK> When I get some manufacturing prices, I will be getting some prototypes
CK> made to test out on my car. Since I also have a SWA, I'll let you know
CK> how things go.
CK> Hope this helps. I'm sorry I can't give you a definitive answer yet..
