Before you crank it over on the starter with the plugs removed, remove the
banjo bolt from the oil line fitting on the side of the block and prime the oil
pump. You should also pre-fill the oil filter before installing. Filling the
oil line on the side of the block at this time too couldn't hurt. Anything you
can do to minimize the time it's cranking over on just assembly lube will help.
