Well...

I got a Bosch. Think it's same as used on
VW's. It IS huge and methinks the next
time around it will morph into a Ford
Festiva type just to reduce weight if not
bulk! :) 

It is much shorter than the gen so we
fabricated a distance piece cut from alum
instead of washers for the rear fitting   and if I recall correctly, the
stock gen bracket works better than the
stock alt. bracket for the front mounting. 

Don't recall
where my mech got the pulley from,
though. Done four years ago when I
acquired the machine.
