I just bought the same one, mine is NOT bolted to the floor but I do
have a brace anchoring it to the wall.
Maybe you could do something similar. Also if you do put it on castors,
get the ones with a brake or at least 2 with brakes. The vibration will
make it want to walk around the floor and it is top heavy so make some
sort of bracket, even a piece of wood bolted to the unit and maybe even
hooked to the wall where you are working. Or a nylon tie down strap.
But DO keep it secured.
I had a Horrible freight bench top blast cabinet, it was as good as the
eastwood job I have now. I just did away with those rediculous stick on
plastic glass protector sheets and bought a new piece of tempered glass
every year or so. Don't aim the bozzle at the glass and it will not get
blasted too bad. I also made a real suction tube out of some PVC pipe
for about $5 and tossed the rediculous stick in the sand tube they supply.
My Eastwood cabinet is bigger, no better, and 3 times as much, same
chinese parts as the horrible freight cabinet.
