A shame but...understandable in accordance with your previous posts on
the subject.
....from what I saw of it, this guy got
an awfully nice car. As you say...at least
it went to someone who appreciates
it, not only for what it is but most likely,
for it's historical significance in terms of a
great, but bygone, time in history.
I am fortunate to have grown up in the
era which produced these great
cars, others of their ilk, Rock 'n' Roll,
Drive-Ins and I think, a generally better
quality of life all-around together with
"real" high-octane gasoline (at low, low
prices!!:).
