I know this may be a crime to ask on the spridget list, but here goes:
Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about an early 60's Jaguar MkII
sedan?
I may be able to get one for cheap. I've built up a bugeye, a Morris
Traveller and an Austin A35, will the Jaguar be totally different or
reasonably similar? Price and availibility of parts?
I picture my wife and I in our golden years cruising around town or the
country in leather lined, burl wood encrusted luxury. Zircon-encrusted
tweezers not included.
I like the look of the car, and the level of restoration needed for the paltry
asking price seems to be a good ratio. Of course I'll be joining Frank on the
"dark side", but I can live with that.
