Yes, Charlie...

It does make an impression, doesn't it!?

Especially when you consider the aircraft's history in terms of the
circumstances wherein such aircraft
were utilized and the many who spent
their last hours within, so that WE might
be here, today.

For me, the ride in the B-17 along with
the B-24, while enjoyable from an airman's point of view, were very
sobering experiences otherwise.
