George,

Concerning our phone call tonight, let me first state the problem. I
have converted
my bugeye to wire wheels using I believe a rear from a 61/62 midget,
keeping the
1/4 springs. There is some play in the left side rear wheel. If you
grasp the tire at the
top and bottom, it can be rocked ~3/16". Since it can not be moved with
the hand
brake engaged, the problem would appear to be in the hub. I have
replaced the bearing
which seemed to fit snugly.

I would like to replace the hub casing this time, but have been unable
to find this
item listed for wire wheels. Is the hub really different for the disc
wheels and can
anyone help me find this part?

Thanks,
Kent
