I did not know this. Sam just sent me a
bunch of pictures which I've forwarded to
a buddy's computer to get separated and
printed out.

Sam is actually more of a Hot Rodder
and Muscle car sorta guy who got into
this 1500 quite by accident, actually.

Like any Hot Rodder he removed the
external chrome from the body work
and smoothed everything over. States
a first rate job was done in this respect
and I believe 'em.

The engine and driveline are stock,
and with the European intake system
with twin 1.75 SU's, the car runs and go's very well according to Sam.
Looks like it
would make a great daily driver.

So is 6K+ too high for a first class '75
rust free car in excellent shape with
the European induction system, the
body "de-Federalized" so it looks at least
as good as pre-75 A Series powered cars? Sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Usually I have no use for the rubber bumpered cars, though I accept them
as a genuine part of the Spridget clan
of course.

But this one is more like a Series A
car being lowered and without those
horrendously Federally mandated ugly rubber bumpers and higher ride
height.

Seems to me this would be the ideal
1500 were I into this particular model.
Sam states the interior is as gorgeous
as the outside. Circumstances in terms
of timing prevented his doing up the
engine compartment like the rest of the
car and he got into driving it more than
working on it, at a certain point (as guessed by another lister who
posted
last night...."spot on" fellow Spritester!).
