after owning 1 half of the set i finally coughed up the cash to have the other
half of this tool made(it cost me 5 bucks! an old retired machinist did it as
a "hobby" project!) . so i now have a dzus FA6 1/2 counter sink tool for
old style dzus button type fastners. this tool is for the old type buttons
that are not "captive" like the modern type with the pop rivet mounting
plates. a wierd tool? yes as most would never use this unless they were
doing old tyme restorations on vintage aircraft or vintage race cars! the
darn tool came along with over 200 of the buttons in 2 1950's coffee cans i
got as part of a large collection of very odd parts.
well ummm ....the price was right? :)
chuck.
so now i must figure out what to do with this stuff...lol!
