Suggest you go "new" to "protect your
investment" in time, effort and money...
It's not much more for new quality pushrods and lifters. Especially look
out for "quality" of lifters in terms of
Rockwell Hardness.
There were some on the market about
a year or so ago that were "awful" new,
in the aforementioned respect. Ruined
many a "fresh" engine with metal contamination.
Suggest a quality house such as
Morriservice, etc. and even APT for
those of the "chilled" variety if there
is any doubt in the aforementioned
respect.
